We operate multiple parking lots throughout the downtown area, all conveniently located near major hotels, offices, and attractions. You can find addresses and a map of all our locations on our website.
Daily Rates vary by garage/lot:
South Penn, DoubleTree Convention, Poplar & Walnut: $2.00/hour.
Chiarelli, 4th & Cherry, Front & Washington, 2nd & Washington: $2.00 first hour, $1.00 each additional hour.
Reed & Court Garage, 1000 Penn (ParkMobile), State Lot: $2.00/hour
Monthly Permit Rates (as of June 1):
Residential Standard: $50/month (or $40/mo prepaid annually).
Residential Premium: $90/month standard (or $72/mo prepaid annually).
Discount: 6-month prepay = 10% off; 3-month = 5% off.
Front & Washington Garage has a special monthly permit for $25/month
Yes. You can get monthly garage or surface lot permits, including standard, reserved, group, and reduced rates for Reading residents or small businesses. Applications must be made in person at the RPA office at 613 Franklin St., with proof of residency (license, registration, insurance).
All garages and lots are operational 24/7, 365 days, with continuous enforcement of parking rules. Though details on security cameras weren’t specified, enforcement staff actively monitor vehicles to uphold meter and permit regulations.
